PERRIS – Senator John J. Benoit (R-Bermuda Dunes) will host a briefing on water issues with Jeffrey Kightlinger, General Manager of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, tomorrow morning at the Eastern Municipal Water District in Perris, 2270 Trumble Road.  Complimentary breakfast will be served at 8 AM and the program will begin promptly at 8:30.

The briefing will cover California’s critical 3-year drought; the mounting environmental, water supply and water quality challenges facing the Sacramento – San Joaquin Bay Delta; the future impact on Riverside County communities and what can be done about it.  Due to limited space, attendees are encouraged to RSVP by calling the Senator’s District Office at (951) 680-6750.
